Honey Boo Boo Opens up about Facing Tough Times This Year in a Recent Candid Post

Honey Boo gets real with her fans and speaks out about the difficult year she has had. The reality star gives a heartfelt confession revealing how she has managed to stay strong.

Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson has had a difficult year dealing with her mother, "Mama June's" downward spiral into drug addiction.

After an attempted intervention with her mother, Alana was forced to move out of the home she shared with her mother and she has been living with her older sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon. Opening up to her fans, Alana says:

"Can we just be real for a second? Let me tell y'all how proud I am of myself! I have honestly been thought hell and back this year! and I'm still standing ?!"

Sharing how well she has been doing with everything that has been made public about her family, she reveals:

"I have been doing so good in school! And just being more happy ? ! I get so much hate but then I think about who all loves me and I know them haters mean nothing!"

The high school student gives a mature perspective on what keeps her motivated, Alana explains:

"I have so much going for me and so many people that love me ? ! And the best words you can hear is I see you trying I'm so proud of you ? ! But really that feeling is a whole different story! Knowing you are making people happy and most importantly you, hits so different ?!"

Reflecting on her own experience, Alana ends her post with an inspirationL message for her fans, saying:

"Let me just be the one to tell y'all if you are going through anything right now trust me it gets better you are worth it, I'm so proud of you, I can see you trying , I love you ?? !"

Ppageant mom, "Mama June" and her boyfriend, Geno Doak have struggled to get their addiction under control. After several arrests, they couple have been dropped from her reality show, "Mama June, from Not to Hot."

They have now become estranged from their family and their erratic behaviour continues, with them recently selling their home and all their belongings so she can live with her boyfriend.

Despite "Mama June's" personal struggles, Alana is reassuring fans that she has and will continue to preserve.
