LL Cool J’s daughters are a perfect combination of himself and wife Simone Smith, and that much was evident in a family picture recently posted to social media.

Simone, during an outing, posed for photos with their three grown-up daughters, Italia, Samaria, and Nina.

From Simone’s Instagram post, it’s apparent that her children have inherited a sense of style from their mother. All three girls wore classy coats, with Nina, 19, twinning with Simone in the same fabric.

Italia and Nina also coordinated with their mom in black boots while Samaria, in a checked pants suit, opted for strappy heels.

The smiles on all four women’s faces could light up a room, especially Simone, who seemed to be glowing just by having the kids surround her.

“My favorite girls in the world!” the jewelry designer captioned her post in honor of National Daughters Day.

ONE BIG FAMILY

Besides their adorable daughters, Simone and LL (real name James Todd Smith) also have a son, Najee, who is the couple’s first child.

Although Najee wasn’t pictured in Simone’s post, the Smith family is a close-knit one. LL and his wife are also often praised for having one of the longest-surviving marriages in Hollywood.

ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTES

Last year when the couple celebrated 23 years of wedded bliss, their children were among the first persons to pay tribute to LL and Simone’s love on social media.

“Happy Anniversary to my Mommy and Daddy. 23 years,” Samaria wrote alongside an epic throwback image of the couple. “The world needs more love like yours! Loveeeee you both!”

A LOVE STORY FOR THE BOOKS

“Not only have you taught us to put God into everything we do but also showing my siblings and I a perfect example of what real love is,” added Nina, who has inherited LL’s passion for music.

A love like LL and Simone’s is worth celebrating. After tying the knot in August of 1995, the two have gone through highs and lows, including beating a stage 3 cancer diagnosis in 2004.

FIGHTING CANCER TOGETHER

Per ESSENCE, Simone’s diagnosis was stage 3 chondrosarcoma—a rare type of bone cancer found in her leg.

All through the journey of undergoing a 15-hour surgery to replace her bone, and over two years of recovering and learning to walk again, LL stood by his wife.

The “NCIS: LA” star told Oprah of the period:

“You don’t abandon someone in that foxhole. You got to be there in that foxhole with them. So I made some decisions professionally and decided to be by Simone’s side more during that period.”

WINNING AT LIFE TOGETHER

Over a decade now and Simone remains cancer-free, no doubt grateful for a second chance at life. She and LL are now offering strength and hope to cancer patients through the “Beat Cancer Like A Boss” campaign.

LL and Simone’s successful marriage has been filled with moments of pride such as Italia’s 2017 wedding and in August when their last child, Nina, debuted her music video.

Through Italia, the longtime couple also has a grandson, King-James.
