RHOA Star Eva Marcille and Husband Michael Sterling Welcome 2nd Child, Son Maverick

Congratulations are in order for Eva Marcille and her husband Michael Sterling, who just welcomed their son Maverick into the world over the weekend.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Eva Marcille gave birth to her second son with Sterling on September 27, as confirmed by her representative. The couple named their son Maverick, following their 17-month-old son Michael Todd Jr.

Michael Sterling also attended a recent product launch on behalf of his wife, and there he revealed that Eva has indeed given birth to Maverick, which is why he needed to stand in her place and deliver a speech for her.

"Yesterday at 4:12 PM my wife and I welcomed Maverick. He came in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, 3 and a half inches. He's doing terrific, mom is good and healthy. We're just excited."

The couple's pregnancy journey was not a secret, and the two led their normal lives throughout the pregnancy. Through it all, fans were updated about her nearing delivery, which is why they were delighted when she finally welcomed a healthy Maverick into the world.

Friends and family of Marcille joined her during the sunflower-themed party, as the blushing mom-to-be wore a white one-shoulder cape gown as she celebrated life and love with all those special to her.

A Happy Family of Five

Now that she's given birth, the Marcille-Sterling clan becomes a family of five, as the reality TV star also has a 5-year-old daughter named Marley Rae from her previous relationship with Kevin McCall.
