Taraji P Henson of 'Empire' Stuns in Feather-Trimmed Gown on the Red Carpet with Fiancé Kelvin Hayden

Taraji P. Henson came prepared for Tyler Perry’s event last weekend as she walked the red carpet alongside her fiancé Kelvin Hayden in a lovely feather-trimmed gown.

On Saturday, Henson and Hayden were part of Hollywood's finest, who turned up for the grand opening of Perry’s state-of-the-art Atlanta studios.

The "Empire" leading lady stunned in a sleeveless black dress featuring feather appliques. She accessorized with a black clutch and hoop earrings.

According to Fashion Bomb Daily, Henson’s outfit is a $1,895 Christopher Kane dress. Hayden, meanwhile, looked sharp in a grey suit, white shirt, black tie, and matching shoes.

WEDDING BELLS

Henson, 49, and Hayden, 36, posed together on the red carpet looking adorable as usual. The lovebirds are probably counting down to their big day next year as the actress has been offering details recently.

Henson confirmed last month that she and her ex-NFL player beau would be tying the knot on April 4, 2020, and revealed that Vera Wang would be designing the dress.

NO BRIDAL PARTY

"I trust Vera! That’s why I had her make the dress," she said. "I don’t have to lose sleep. I know she’s going to make me look beautiful."

The "Hidden Figures" star has also made it clear that she’s not looking to have a bridal party or any other extras on the day she becomes Mrs. Hayden.

During a recent appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," she said:

"I told my wedding planner make it pretty, fun, make sure the food is good and a bomb deejay. No bridal party. I’m not a bridezilla. Please, I just want to say my vows in front of people I love, eat good food and have fun. That’s it!"

FIRST HINT

Henson first gave fans a hint of her much-anticipated wedding day in August. Alongside pictures of herself and Hayden cuddled up on a yacht, she added the hashtag: "#4/4/20"

Henson and Hayden got engaged last year, with the athlete proposing on Mother’s day. "I said yes y’all!!!" the actress gushed alongside a photo of her ring.

"He started with the Cartier love bracelet, BUT that was my #Mothersday gift, and then he dropped to his knee, and I almost passed out!!!" Henson further explained before adding that she was "sooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!!!"

Henson has kids from a previous relationship while Henson also has a 25-year-old son, Marcel, with her late high-school sweetheart.
