Hallmark Channel Announces First-Ever Christmas Con Which Will Be Held in New Jersey

Hallmark Channel brings a new trend to television as they announce the very first Christmas Con to be held.

Hallmark Channel is breaking grounds, and they used the world’s favorite holiday to achieve this.

As reported by PEOPLE, Crown Media Family announced a new initiative to rock the world of entertainment titled Hallmark Channel’s Hometown Christmas.

The aim of the unique program is to “honor towns where the Christmas spirit knows no bounds.”

One of the events of the initiative is the Hallmark Channel’s first-ever Christmas Con.

As seen on Facebook, the Christmas Con is slated for November 8-10. The 3-day will be held at the Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey.

The Christmas Con will include big names in the industry, including Lacey Chabert, who starred in “Christmas in Rome,” her eighth movie for Hallmark Channel.

Other celebrities expected to grace the event include Chad Michael Murray, Jonathan Bennett, Cameron Mathison, Nikki DeLoach, and, Alicia Witt.

Also, Jackée Harry, Erin Krakow, Paul Greene, Jack Wagner, Ryan Paevey, Andrew Walker, Rachel Boston, Holly Robinson Peete, and Melissa Claire Egan will be in attendance.

While the Christmas Con might be the highlight of the initiative, it isn’t the only event to occur. “Christmas Comes Early to David City, Nebraska, is another hometown Christmas event.

The town-square event, which will take place on October 30, will honor the birthplace of the founder of Hallmark Cards, Joyce C. Hall.

Also, Crown Media’s Hallmark Drama will travel to the tornado-ravaged town in Alabama, Beauregard. They will be part of a team that will help build 15 homes for those affected by the storm.

Speaking about the insightful initiative, the CEO and President of Crown Media Family Networks, Bill Abbott said:

“Our goal is to highlight cities and towns that reflect the true meaning of the holiday spirit and show the goodness in our country and our communities that is sometimes overlooked.”

As a result of the similar theme in Hallmark movies and their integration into the holiday season, fans have created a drinking game, PEOPLE reveals.
