Steve Harvey Posts Sweet Message for Wife Marjorie on Her 55th Birthday

Steve Harvey is a grateful man as he celebrates his wife Marjorie’s 55th birthday. The TV host ignored all the negativity that came their way and made the most of his other half’s special day.

There’s nothing like having your husband of 12 years thanking God for your presence in his life. That’s what Marjorie had on October 10 when Steve paid tribute to her.

The "Family Feud" host took to Instagram with a photo of himself and Marjorie dressed for an event and wrote:

"I am so grateful to God for giving me her. Happy Birthday to my QUEEN. I love you girl @marjorie_harvey"

Fans of the couple trooped to the comment section with best wishes for Marjorie, but unfortunately, social media trolls also made an appearance.

According to Atlanta Black Star, one Instagram user stepped in with a comment implying Marjorie was a gold digger. "She spending you right to the poor house Steve," the comment in question read.

Thankfully, neither Steve nor his wife had to respond because several fans rose to the occasion. "Wow, can we just show ourselves encouraging and not be so negative," one supporter of the Harveys shot back.

A BRIEF TROLLING TIMELINE

Steve and Marjorie are no stranger to having trolls question the authenticity of their love. Besides constant divorce rumors that the couple continues to shut down, the fashion enthusiast was also accused in August of wasting her husband’s money on a lavish lifestyle.

Steve’s NBC show "Steve" was canceled earlier this year, and not long after, the network replaced him as host of "Little Big Shots," so there are speculations that his finances have taken a big hit.

"Don’t spend all the money, honey," one Instagram user reportedly chided Marjorie after she posted a snapshot of herself sitting in a helicopter.

Steve had to come to his wife’s defense on that occasion with a classy clapback:

"Truth is, I love her and she loves me; that’s a fact. You know 2 people really can be in love. It really is possible."

THE BIRTHDAY BASH

On October 10, Steve quickly put all the negative voices aside and partied it up with Marjorie at the Moon Palace Cancun resort in Mexico, per Bossip.

According to the outlet, Steve, 62, emceed his wife’s private birthday bash, where a Mariachi band thrilled the audience and paved the way for singer Ginuwine’s private performance later on in the night.

Marjorie looked splendid in a colorful sequin playsuit paired with black strappy heels and diamond earrings. She wore her hair in a sleek ponytail.

Marjorie looked like she had a lot of fun and even had time to show off seductive dance moves in a video posted on her daughter Lori Harvey’s Instagram Story.
