Kelly Clarkson Stuns in Short Black Dress as She Sings Cover of Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' on Her Talk Show
Kelly Clarkson is holding nothing back on her new show. She once again proved her singing abilities during her opening “Kellyoke” segment.
The former American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson left fans in awe on Tuesday. During her new day time TV show "The Kelly Clarkson Show" she opened with her "Kellyoke" segment.
During the segment, fans were left with their jaws dropped after she belted out Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” Between her stunning little black dress and her impressive vocals, the entire performance was phenomenal.
A video of the performance was posted to the show's Twitter page. In the video, she is seen standing on stage with a mic in hand.
She donned a short black dress with long, white-cuffed sleeves and a matching white collar. To complete her outfit, she accessorized with black tights, gold hoop earrings, and chunky heeled black boots.
The dress drew attention to her slim waistline and emphasized her long legs. She kept her hair simple with a center part and sleek straight strands.
Her makeup consisted of defined eyebrows, pink blush, and long lashes with a dramatic smokey eye shadow and dark pink lips. Her nails were painted a burgundy color to complement the glam look.

She belted out a haunting version of the hit Miley song. Her performance was accompanied by a guitar player. Fans took to Twitter to praise her singing and her outfit. One wrote:
“Those awesome shoes that Kelly wears need a song all of their own.”
The star covers a different song to open every show. So far she covered songs from Joan Jett, Carrie Underwood, Lizzo, Reba McEntire, Britney Spears, Sheryl Crow, Prince, Madonna to name a few.
