Jimmy Carter, 95, Hospitalized after Fall in His Georgia Home Less Than a Month after First Fall
Barely a month after receiving stitches for his eyes after suffering a fall at home, Former President Jimmy Carter has been hospitalized for another fall.
Just when friends and family of Jimmy Carter were celebrating his recovery, the former president has been admitted to the hospital after falling again.
According to CNN, the former president fell in his home in Plains, Georgia, on Monday Night.

The news of his second fall was confirmed on Twitter by the director of communications for the Carter Center in a statement that read:
"Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter had a fall yesterday evening at his home in Plains, Ga. He has been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture. He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home."
In no time, fans replied the tweet and sent their well-wishes to the former politician. A concerned fan wrote:
"I hope he recovers quickly and without pain… I am seriously more worried about the fact that this is his second fall in the last couple of months… fix that too.
Another wrote:
"God bless you, President Carter. America wraps her arms around you and wishes you a speedy recovery."
As reported by PopCulture, Carter fell in his home earlier this month shortly after he turned 95 on October 1, and as a result, was required to get 14 stitches above his left eye.
That same day, the 39th President of the United States attended the opening ceremony for Habitat for Humanity'sHumanity's Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
There, he explained the eye injury saying:
"I fell down and hit my forehead on a sharp edge and had to go to the hospital. And they took 14 stitches in my forehead, and my eye is black, as you've noticed."

The former president also suffered a fall in May while preparing for a turkey hunt and broke his hip, PopCulture notes.
