Former teen idol and star of the ‘70s hit series, “Donny & Marie” ran into a slight glitch on his London trip. The 61-year-old took to Twitter to narrate his sad ordeal, with a hint of positivity.

Not every day does one hear of a star encountering a bad reception while out on a trip, but sadly, American actor and singer, Donny Osmond, just experienced a night he would never forget.

A TRIP TO REMEMBER

The former teen idol recently took a trip to London, of course, with all requirements in place. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a solo, uneventful London get-away turned out to be a trip to remember, losing his bag and hotel reservation in one night. What’s worse? He spent the night on a roadside bench!

The legendary star of the series, “Donny & Marie,” recounted his unforgettable experience via a tweet. The singer tweeted:

“Just touched down in London! Long Flight, no bag, and mistake in my hotel reservation. This is by far turning out to be a trip I’ll never forget! The good news is I need a shower, and the ＃London rain is working magic.”

Following his narration, the television got several sympathizers to his ordeal, each offering their share of goodwill. Someone tweeted:

‘I think there are MANY people who would give you a place to stay. Glad you made it safely. Sorry about your bag and hotel.”

The star, who has been married to his wife Debbie for nearly 41 years, once admitted that his career hit a slow pitch after his marriage, just like his father earlier predicted.

But despite the hitch, he was glad he met and married his wife, who made him a proud father, and now grandfather.

Earlier in July, the patriarch showed off his large family comprising his five sons and ten grandchildren on social media. The family photo featured the legend, his wife Debbie, and all their grandchildren, all looking excited, as they posed for the camera.
