Jessa Duggar Shares a Cute Photo of Her Daughter in a Dress Her Grandma Wore as a Baby

Jessa Duggar, best known for the TLC show “19 Kids and Counting,” took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter, Ivy, wearing a dress that belonged to her grandmother.

In the pic, baby Ivy appeared flashing her beautiful smile while looking directly at the camera in the cutest way. She was sitting in what seemed to be a couch covered with a light brown blanket.

Jessa has been in a relationship with Ben Seewald since September 2013.

The beautiful photo

Although her expression and the picture itself was stunning, the highlight of the post was the blue and white dress that Ivy was wearing. As Jessa revealed in the caption, Grandma Seewald, Ivy’s grandmother, wore it as a baby.

The proud mother-of-three remarked that after “several generations,” the beautiful piece of clothing was passed on to Ivy.

Jill and Jinger’s comments

Shortly after Jessa Duggar uploaded that photo on Instagram, some of her followers took to the comment section to share the thoughts.

One of them was her sister Jill Duggar, the wife of Derick Dillard. She focused her attention on Ivy’s “little face.” Jinger Duggar, on the other hand, pointed out that the baby was “just darling!”

Jessa and Ben Seewald’s relationship

Jessa has been in a relationship with Ben Seewald since September 2013, when the Duggar family announced that they started courting. At that point, Jessa was 20 years old, and Ben was 18.

According to the Duggar’s patriarch Jim Bob, Ben was “very sharp.” He even described his relationship with Jessa as “a match made in heaven.”

After courting for 11 months, the couple got engaged. On November 1, 2014, they tied the knot at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Spurgeon Elliot, their first child, was born on November 5, 2015. The delivery process was quite impressive, given the fact that Jessa was in labor for about 48 hours.

Their children

The couple’s second child, Henry Wilberforce, was born on February 6, 2017. Jessa and Ben’s third child, Ivy Jane, was born on May 26, 2019. As explained in the couple’s blog, they were getting ready to go to church when Jessa’s water broke.

Thankfully, they managed to get everything ready for the baby’s birth, which took place at their house. Apart from that, the family admitted that Ivy was “tiny” in size when compared to her brothers at birth.

How they make ends meet

The Duggar family is famous for being large – Jim Bob and Michelle have 19 children. Although it is still too early to tell, Ben and Jessa are probably following Jim Bob and Michelle’s example.

Most of their fans believe the same, and they have wondered how they manage to take care of themselves and their children money-wise.

Ben got a degree in Political Science at National Park College in Hot Springs, Arkansas, in 2015. Apart from that, he has been studying at Moody Bible Institute and, judging by the images of the books he has shared on Instagram, he’s possibly studying to become a pastor.

In Jessa's case, the Duggar kids have reportedly earned about $1.2 million since 2015 due to the show. However, it is unknown how they have split the money.
