Da Brat shared a gorgeous photo of herself for the rest of her fans to see on Instagram, showing that she seems to be aging backward. The rapper sported metallic pink makeup and red braids which she accessorized with a pink bandana and hoop earrings.

Da Brat is looking better than ever nowadays, amid all the controversies and problems that she's faced in the past couple of years.

Da Brat's Pink Look

Now that she's been hard at work to provide for her family and her lifestyle, she's been a lot more visible on social media, sharing her various OOTDs and makeup looks for the day.

The rapper's latest update shows her ageless beauty covered in metallic pink makeup which she pulled off effortlessly, matching this with red braided hair and a pink bandana. Accessorizing with some hoop earrings, she was good to go for the day.

Da Brat's Platinum Record Status

Although Da Brat is a record-breaking artist, being the first-ever female rapper to go platinum. Her second album went on to go gold, but her third album put her back in platinum status.

However, after finding fame, she ran into some legal trouble after getting into two serious physical altercations at different nightclubs.

Da Brat's Legal Woes

In an event that took place in 2007, she struck a woman with a glass bottle several times which led to her serving jail time until being released in 2011. After being released, she was ordered to pay her victim $6 million in damages.

Da Brat Filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

The rapper filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, revealing she only has $108,700.65 in her name despite her liabilities being a total of $7,782,249.57.

Her debt includes the $6.4 million she owed Shayla Stevens, the woman whom she hit at the nightclub. Apart from the whopping debt, she also owes $1.2 million to Sony Music, $12,000 to Ally Bank, and a lot more.

Da Brat's Monthly Income

Now that she's working as a radio host, her monthly income is allegedly $9,319, but that does not even shoulder her monthly expenses which amount to $10,506.55.

While Da Brat doesn't seem to be too affected by her financial state, she'll have to keep working in order not to face any legal trouble in the near future.
