Kris Jenner Breaks down in Tears as She Addresses OJ Simpson Affair Rumours in KUWTK Episode

In a rare moment on her show, Kris Jenner fights tears as she reacts to rumors linking her to OJ Simpson when they re-emerged around the time of her friend Nicole Simpson's death anniversary.

Kris Jenner is sick of the rumors linking her to OJ Simpson. The reality momager tearfully expressed her frustration in a recent episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and declared a legal battle against the publication that continues to spin the persistent story.

“After 25 years, you’d think it just wouldn’t be a thing ” Jenner told her daughter, Khloe Kardashian on the show, referring to the relentless rumor about her and the former NFL star.

THE HISTORY BETWEEN KRIS AND OJ

OJ is a close friend of the Kardashians. In fact, it was Kris’s’ former and late husband, Robert Kardashian who led the legal team that fought for Simpson’s acquittal when he was tried for the brutal murder of his wife, Nicole Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman.

Rumors swirled that Kris had an affair with Simpson at one point and produced a daughter, Khloe.

“I just think it’s really unfair to Nicole’s family, my family, for these stupid rumors to be flying around out there. It’s always right there under the surface..."

KRIS' REACTION TO THE LATEST RUMORS

The story linking Kris to OJ was rehashed recently by the Daily Mail on Nicole’s death anniversary which prompted a reaction from Jenner.

“They print “That [expletive] piece of [expletive]...." she said. "It’s really kind of pathetic that when rumors get started the media gives it life and breath and on the anniversary of Nicole’s death. It’s so tasteless and disgusting.”

She adds speaking to her daughters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner,

"That's just lie after lie after lie after lie, and it’s only so much that one human being can take.”

In another segment of the show where she's speaking to Khloe, Kris tried to keep her composure as tears threatened to spill when she said,

“After 25 years, you’d think it just wouldn’t be a thing."

She added later,

“I’m so over stupid rumors of things that never happened. I think it’s just really wrong and you’re almost forced to address them.”

In June, OJ addressed the rumors inking him to Kris and clarified that he never harbored any form of interest in her.

Khloe tried to calm her mother by telling her this is what the press normally does.

“It’s what losers do, who cares…Try to not let it get you so upset.”

ON TAKING LEGAL ACTION

Kris declared that she was suing the publication for printing the rumor. She revealed this later on the show.

“I just think it’s really unfair to Nicole’s family, my family, for these stupid rumors to be flying around out there. It’s always right there under the surface. My team has decided to take legal action because once and for all I have to do something about it.”

MISSING NICOLE

Elsewhere during the episode, Kris became emotional as she dined with Faye Resnick in the same restaurant she, Nicole and their husbands used to frequent.

“I think I’ve realized that I’ve latched onto the legal side of stuff, rather than deal with the emotional side of myself that just misses my girlfriend,” she admitted to Faye while holding back tears.

“There’s a part of me that gets so angry that I mask my emotions of sadness. But I think that instead of focusing on something so tragic I think we just need to have these amazing memories that we had with her and celebrate all of that.”

OJ'S STORY

In 1994, Nicole and Ron were discovered brutally murdered in her home’s backyard. OJ was accused of the murder but was acquitted though held liable for the deaths. In 2008, OJ was convicted of armed robbery and served time until his release in 2017.

In June, OJ addressed the rumors linking him to Kris and clarified that he never harbored any form of interest in her.
