Clint Eastwood & Maggie Johnson Were Married for 31 Years – They Split 35 Years Ago
Clint Eastwood, the star of "Dirty Harry" and "Gran Torino," is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, a name that commands respect and admiration.
The star has had a rich and fulfilling career, and the amount of love and dedication that he gave to the entertainment industry is at an almost unrivaled level.
But aside from being a tremendous actor and talented director, Eastwood is also a family man and Maggie Johnson was the first woman who enjoyed the spotlight by his side.

SHORT-LIVED HAPPINESS
It has been reported that Eastwood and Johnson first met while on a blind date set up by a friend that they had in common and they immediately hit it off.
She is currently 90 years old and they tied the knot in 1953. Their relationship started off well but, sadly, the pair decided to split for a bit in 1964.

The two got back together for a short while, but it was long enough for them to welcome 2 children into the world - son Kyle Eastwood and daughter Alison Eastwood.
Despite having a long history between them and sharing 2 children, Eastwood and Johnson finally decided to call it quits for good in 1984, when they officially got divorced.

MOVING ON
The following year, the former actress and model, who starred in shows such as "Ironside" and "Mannix," tied the knot with Henry Wynberg, to whom she was married for 4 years.
In a shocking turn of events, Eastwood learned that a woman named Laurie Murray was looking for him because she believed him to be her father.

WELCOMED TO THE FAMILY
As it turns out, she was right, and that raised a lot of questions because she was the daughter of a woman in Seattle that the actor had an affair with while engaged to Johnson.
According to Eastwood, he continues to work because he likes it.
It has been reported that Murray had always been interested in finding out who her real parents were so she hired someone to help her, and Eastwood's name came up.

The Mirror claimed that Murray, who currently goes by Laurie Eastwood, tracked down her mother as well but she allegedly refused to see her daughter.
The Hollywood star, however, did not. Being a father to seven children - Kimber, Kyle, Francesca, Alison, Katheryn, Morgan, and Scott - he gladly welcomed her into the family.
NOT FINANCIALLY DRIVEN
While some people may believe that she sought out Eastwood with money on her mind, that couldn't be further from the truth as her husband, Lowell Thomas Murray III, is quite wealthy.
Aside from a property in Lakewood, Washington, the couple also owns a home on a private course in Los Angeles, California, and used to own a property in Maui, Hawaii.

Although it is unknown how Johnson reacted upon learning that her ex-husband cheated on her even before they were married, the truth is that Eastwood couldn't be happier about his new daughter.
The 91-year-old officially introduced his 8th child to the world while attending the Los Angeles premiere of his 2018 film "The Mule, where she was spotted alongside her famous father.

STILL GOING STRONG
Despite his advanced age, Eastwood shows no signs of slowing down, as his most recent project, "Cry Macho," debut in theaters and HBO Max on September 17.
During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the acclaimed actor and director opened up about his relationship with work and the industry, and why he's not keen on stepping down.

According to Eastwood, who first jumped from acting to working behind cameras with "Play Misty for Me" in 1971, he continues to work because he likes it. He added:
"I have nothing against other directors, but I might have a whole different take on things and I don't want to be thinking, 'Why did I give it to him?'"

The star explained that he started directing because it was something he could do as he got older, although he still dabs into acting, which sometimes makes him feel conflicted:
"What the hell am I still working for in my 90s? Are people going to start throwing tomatoes at you? I've gotten to the point where I wondered if that was enough, but not to the point where I decided it was."

3 CONDITIONS
Regarding future projects, the actor confirmed that he is open to new ideas but that he does not know what might come next as he doesn't have anything in his hands at the moment.
However, Eastwood hinted that he is only willing to work on a project if it meets his criteria, especially regarding the story itself, the way of telling it, and whether he finds it fun or not.

As for his view on how the industry has evolved and if there is anything different from before, Eastwood admitted that he never thinks about it because he is not the same man that he used to be. He said:
"If I'm not the same guy, I don't want to know anything about it. I might not like the new guy. I might think, 'What am I doing with this idiot?'"
Besides "Dirty Harry" and "Gran Torino," the Hollywood legend also starred in "Escape from Alcatraz," "Million Dollar Baby," "The Bridges of Madison County" and "Sudden Impact."
