Tia Mowry Reunites with 'Sister, Sister' Mom Jackée Harry in 'Family Reunion' Holiday Special

There was a loving moment for Tia Mowry of "Sister, Sister" fame when she reunited with her mother on the sitcom, Jackée Harry, in a Netflix Christmas Special of Tia's show.

For five great years in the 90s, many people grew up watching the sitcom, "Sister, Sister," which was about two twin sisters separated at birth, and each adopted by a different parent, whose paths later cross, and they end up living together.

The show had stars such as Tia Mowry, and her twin sister, Tamera Mowry. Fans of the show had nostalgic feelings when Tia Mowry reunited with her mother on the show, Jackée Harry, in a Netflix Christmas Special.

TIA AND HARRY REIGNITE MEMORIES

Tia Mowry's hit Netflix show, "A Family Reunion," would have a special Christmas-themed episode, and a trailer of the episode showed that Jackée Harry would be making a guest appearance.

A clip showed a short conversation between Tia and Harry, where Tia's character tells Harry's character:

"I can't believe you did that to your sister…sister."

After which the women exchange a knowing look. There have not been any details made available about the special episode, but Netflix has said that it would see the McKellans facing the ghosts of Christmas past.

FAMILY REUNION TELLS TRUE LIFE STORIES

Tia Mowry spoke about her return to the screen earlier in the year, where she described her work on her Netflix show as being refreshing and rewarding.

She also revealed that the scripts of "Family Reunion" were all based on true-life experiences. She said:

"There's this raw, rooted, grounded authenticity that is being portrayed in the pages and the storylines. We had 20 scripts, and I was so excited to read every single one of these scripts because of the stories that were being told."

Fans will be eagerly awaiting the Christmas special, which begins streaming on Netflix from December 9.

WILL TIA AND TAMERA WORK TOGETHER AGAIN?

One thing fans would also be wishing for is a joint onscreen project between the sisters, Tia and Tamera. Since "Sister, Sister" ended, the twins have not collaborated on any project.

This doesn't mean the sisters don't harbor such plans, but the chances are that if they ever come back to do any show together, it wouldn't be a "Sister, Sister" reboot.

Tia spoke to ET's Katie Krause, and when asked if she and Tamera plan to act together again, Tia said:

"Tamera and I always talk about it. We're always like, 'What is that next thing?' It's about finding the right thing and then also finding something that's fitting our schedules because she is on 'The Real', and that's a very intense schedule."

Tia and Tamera's fans would be hoping they can put away their tight schedules and cook something up. For them, anything will do!
