WHY SHE KEPT THE RING
Cynthia opened up about the ring she chose to keep when she visited “Watch What Happens Live” on Sunday. The reality star who’s been proposed to a few times was asked if she kept her ring after the demise of her marriage to Peter. She admitted “I did. I did keep the ring.” Her reason,
“I earned the ring.”

RINGS THAT WERE RETURNED
Cynthia’s revelation was in response to recent news concerning her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star, Porsha Williams. During an episode of their show, Cynthia learned that in the heels of Porsha’s canceled engagement to Dennis McKinley, Dennis asked for her engagement ring back.
The women who heard about Porsha’s admission couldn’t help but feel upset over the returned ring considering Dennis allegedly cheated on Porsha while they were engaged and she was pregnant with their daughter.

Cynthia has returned an engagement ring in the past when she changed her mind after agreeing to marry NBA player, Jayson Williams. She was speechless when he proposed to her publicly at a halftime show but realized later she wasn’t ready.
THE RING THAT'S FOR KEEPS
As of this year, however, she secured her ring after making a commitment to marry sportscaster, Mike Hill. She celebrated their romantic engagement in July flaunting the ring Mike gave her during the grand opening of her wine cellar.
PETER'S REACTIONS AS OF LATE
As for Peter’s reaction to her engagement, Cynthia told Andy Cohen that he has not congratulated her.
Peter and Cynthia were married in 2010 but parted ways by 2016 due to cheating allegations against Peter. He denied this around the time Cynthia filed for divorce. He also blamed Cynthia’s reality show for painting him as the bad guy.
“It was NEVER in the best interest of Bravo to show men in a positive light,” he wrote in an Instagram post recently.

Peter was blindsided when Cynthia sprung divorce on him after he was caught being cozy with another woman. He was also involved in several financial and legal issues that complicated matters. Peter denied cheating on his wife or using her money but that didn’t stop Cynthia from pushing through with their divorce which was finalized in 2017.
