Rick Fox of 'Meet The Browns' and Daughter Sasha Co-Star for the First Time in 'One Fine Christmas'

Rick Fox and his daughter, Sasha Fox share the small screen for the first time in OWN's first holiday movie. A trailer for the film reveals their charming interaction.

It’s definitely “One Fine Christmas” for Rick Fox who’s co-starring with his daughter, Sasha Fox in the holiday film with the same title. In a trailer for OWN’s first holiday movie, Rick and Sasha act together for the first time.

In the clip, Rick introduces himself to Sasha’s character Haley whose mother, Susan is played by actress Vanessa Williams (not to be confused with her real mother who shares the same name, ironically). A connection seems to form between Rick’s character and Susan to the delight of Haley and her grandmother, Alice (played by Marla Gibbs).

The film which premiered on November 15 centers on three families who share the same street, aptly called Christmas Street. Struggling to get into the Christmas spirit due to work and broken families, they find themselves intertwined as Christmas Eve approaches.

Sasha is Rick’s only daughter with former beauty queen/singer/actress Vanessa Williams. The 19-year-old went through their parents’ divorce when she was only four years old.

Although Sasha was raised by her mother following the split, she remained close to her father whose athletic genes she seems to have inherited. Sasha was part of her high school’s volleyball team, according to superbhub.com.

But along with her athleticism, Sasha is a thespian who dabbled in directing when she was only 13 years old. She directed the short film, “Super Date” which was produced by Crystal Holt. In 2012, She also appeared in “Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez.”

Equipped with her parents’ good looks, Sasha landed modeling stints for several agencies and magazines. In September, she featured in Serena Williams’ show for New York Fashion Week.

But while she gets to earn through modeling, Sasha’s main priority is her studies. She’s currently enrolled at Chapman University in Southern California. Her mother was excited about the new chapter in her life when she left their home last year. She was also optimistic that Sasha would do well in college.
