Duane Chapman Shares a Touching Throwback Photo, Posing with His Children and Wife Beth
Beth Chapman has lost her battle with throat cancer earlier this year. Since her passing, her family has been posting many throwback pictures to remember the late matriarch.
Duane Chapman announced Beth's passing on Twitter, on June 26, 2019. The pair had been together off and on for 16 years and married on May 20, 2006.
Both had children from previous relationships. They also went on to have their own children together and in total, they had thirteen children.
Duane recently took to the social media site Instagram to share a throwback picture of their entire family together. The "Dog the Bounty Hunter" star chose not to caption the post.
The picture showed nine of their children with the couple. It appeared to be a professionally taken picture that the family had posed to take.
More than twenty-two thousand people liked the post. The post also garnered many comments from fans. One wrote:
"I love your family & I wish I was a part of your team!!! God bless you all."
Many also took a moment to send prayers for Beth and remember the matriarch of the Chapman clan. Duane is the figurehead of the family and the face of the family bounty hunting business.
Many of their children work in the business and appear in reality shows that were inspired by the business. Amongst the main team of the bounty hunter is his son, Leland Chapman.
Leland Chapman did boxing and mixed martial arts as a teenager and went on to join the original show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," and "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt." He is also in "Dog's Most Wanted."
Beth had also been a big part of the family business. She has appeared in some episodes of the show posthumously as she had continued to work on the show throughout her battle with cancer.
Beth suffered from lung cancer which later spread to her throat and caused multiple complications that eventually left to her passing.
