Safaree and Pregnant Wife Erica Mena from 'Love and Hip Hop' Have a Lavish Met-Gala Themed Baby Shower

"Love & Hip Hop" stars Erica Mena and Safaree hosted an exotic met-gala themed baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of their first child together.

Given that Erica Mena Samuels and her man, Safaree's first child together, would be arriving into the world soon, the "Love & Hip Hop" couple is giving their all to welcome their baby girl.

In celebration of the milestone, BCK Online revealed that the couple hosted a Met Gala themed baby shower as they took to Instagram to share their looks at the event.

For his look, Safaree rocked a pink two-piece suit, which he complemented with white satin pants and pink hair. The 38-year-old rapper captioned his post:

“Getting ready for Her. Where’s my modeling contract at ? I do no play with the wears!!”

Meanwhile, Erica chose a glamorous pink floor-length gown that showed off her legs and cleavage. The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star finished her look with her pink-colored hair styled up in a ponytail.

In the accompanying caption, she revealed that Karen Sabag made the breathtaking ensemble before thanking her sister and friends for making the shower a success.

The Shade Room also shared a series of updates from the event, including videos that showed guests having fun. In one of the videos, Safaree is seen talking as he dances to the music blasting from the DJ’s booth.

According to BCK Online, some of the guests of the couple included their “Love & Hip Hop: New York” castmates Yandy Smith, Joe Budden, Remy Ma, and Mona Scott.

Liistudio recalls that Safaree and Erica walked down the aisle on October 7, soon after they made it public that they are expecting their first child together.

The couple broke the baby news in a video posted on VH1 YouTube's channel on October 1.

While speaking on the impending babe arrival, Safaree stated:

“I am excited, I am nervous, I am in shock, and I’m in disbelief. It is rather surreal to me, so it’s, woah I have no idea what the hell I ought to do, however, I will likely be nice at what I do as a result of I’m good at all the things.”

The expectant parents have started making plans on the best way to raise their child, who is a girl. According to Hot 97, Erica and Safaree have already decided not to vaccinate their child once she is born.

Erica, who is already a mother, shared a snapshot of a conversation about vaccination between her and her 11-year-old son, King Conde, on her Instagram story.

The discussion showed that although King respected his mother’s choice, he wasn’t in agreement with it. Since that conversation was shared, fans have become eager to see how things will turn out once the baby arrives.
