Drake's Baby Mama Sophie Brussaux Met with Pope Francis in Rome and Presented Him with Portrait She Painted

Drake's first child's mother is an accomplished artist who, apart from painting celebrities, painted Pope Francis. She presented the painting to him when they recently met.

The mother of Drake’s two-year-old son made headlines this week after sharing photos of her encounter with Pope Francis.

A DATE WITH THE POPE

Artist Sophie Brussaux whose son, Adonis is Drake’s first child delighted in sharing images from her trip to the Vatican where she met no less than the leader of the Catholic Church and gifted him with something she created.

Brussaux is an accomplished artist with celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Obama, and Beyonce in her list of clientele.

Sophie, 30, shared with her Instagram followers that she painted an image of Pope Francis and gave it to him “in honor of his concert with and for the poor on Nov 9 2019.” She further explained that she chose the colors green and red for the Pope’s image to represent hope and the fight for poverty respectively.

In photos the French artist shared, she shook hands with the Pope and chatted with him as she presented her painting to him. Pope Francis smiled back at her and we’re guessing he loved the artwork.

Sophie is an accomplished artist with celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Obama, and Beyonce in her list of clientele. She also used to be an adult film star who went by the name Rosee Divine.

As for Drake, she and the singer have kept their relationship on a low profile since meeting in January 2017. They welcomed Adonis on October 24, 2017, and recently celebrated his 2nd birthday.

For a while, Drake was accused of hiding his son from the world. He denied the accusations via his song, “Emotionless” where he raps,

“I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid / From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate / Until you staring at your seed, you could never relate.”

Adonis lives with her mother who according to the Blast is based in Paris. However, the frequent traveler with two university degrees often travels to Toronto so Drake could spend time with their son.

For the boy’s 2nd birthday, mother and son jetted to Toronto where a Cookie Monster-themed party was held in Drake’s mansion. Both Drake and Sophie shared images from that affair.

There was a time when Drake hardly saw his son but not since he and Sophie found a way to co-parent their child harmoniously.

ON DRAKE'S RUMORED ROMANCE WITH KYLIE

Meanwhile, Drake is rumored to be dating Kylie Jenner. The former girlfriend of Travis Scott and the singer have reportedly been hanging out. Kylie was present during his 33rd birthday in mid-October and was also spotted during his Halloween bash in West Hollywood.

Drake is known to be close to the Kardashian clan so some suspect he and Kylie are simply hanging out platonically. Kylie has also maintained that her focus post-Travis break-up is their daughter, Stormi.
