The latest episode of Fox's singing competition, "The Masked Singer," eliminated contestant Tree on Tuesday's episode and the celebrity behind the mask was revealed as Ana Gasteyer.

According to Pop Culture, once the performances were over, the judges and studio were given a handful of clues and votes for their least favorite performance were cast.
Unfortunately, the Tree got voted as the episode's least favorite performance, and neither the judges nor the studio audience saved her from elimination.
However, before she left the stage, she had to take off her mask. The celebrity in disguise was revealed to be former "Saturday Night Live's" Ana Gasteyer.
The TV personality had performed a rendition of Lady Gaga's 2011 hit single "The Edge Of Glory" and admitted during the performance she missed her friends and doing collaborations.
During her time as The Tree on "The Masked Singer," Ana had hinted that she had been on a stage and a shared a standing ovation with one of the judges.
PEOPLE recounted that the episode began with a recap of unmasked celebrities of the season before the top six were brought together.
The top six contestants include Thingamajig, Fox, Flamingo, Rottweiler, Tree, and Leopard.
PEOPLE added that Season 1 winner T-Pain joined judges Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ken Jeong were joined on the panel.
Although Jenny had correctly guessed that the former SNL star was the Tree, the rest of the panel didn't suspect the 52-year-old comedian. While Ken declared that the Tree was Bebe Neuwirth, T-Pain claimed that the Tree was Mariah Carey.
In fact, Ana had even appeared with Ken in a live version of "A Christmas Story" on Fox - a fact that she didn't hesitate to recall.
Meanwhile, back in May, Us Magazine reported that music held a sweet spot in the actress's life as she had recorded a Christmas album. Ana revealed that she wrote the album's title track, "Sugar and Booze," as an "homage to my favorite things about the holidays."
Her love for music didn't just start, though, as Us Magazine further divulged that the 52-year-old played violin as a growing child.
Even as an adult, Ana is yet to quit playing the violin. However, she claimed that her family only allows her to play the instrument during her jazz act.
During her time as The Tree on "The Masked Singer," Ana had hinted that she had been on a stage and a shared a standing ovation with one of the judges.
