Cassie Shares First Picture of Her Newborn Daughter Frankie 5 Days after Giving Birth

Cassie is over the moon about her newborn daughter, and we can't blame her. Five days after giving birth, the new mom has shared a first look at her "BFF," Frankie, while also revealing her middle name.

It's been a whirlwind year for Cassie, but we must say, it's ending on the highest note ever. Cassie and her husband, Alex Fine, welcomed their daughter last week, and the singer is having the best time.

On Wednesday, the "Me & U" hitmaker took to Instagram with a black-and-white photo of her daughter resting on a printed blanket. The snapshot marked Frankie's social media debut.

"They want to wait a few more days before they have visitors over but they have been sending photos of their baby"

The left side of baby Frankie's face was visible, as were some dark hair and her hands. The adorable tot also wrapped her tiny fingers around what appeared to be Cassie’s hand.

SOCIAL MEDIA REACTIONS

"She's just different. Frankie Stone Fine. My BFF," Cassie gushed alongside the image that has since garnered tons of likes and comments from fans and celebrity friends across the globe.

"Congratulations, Mama!! Welcome to motherhood," actress and fellow mom, Denise Vasi, wrote. "Congratulations, beautiful!!!! You're a mommy!!!!!!," another celeb mom Khloe Kardashian echoed.

A CHILD IS BORN

Cassie and Alex reportedly welcomed their daughter on Friday, December 6, in Los Angeles. Frankie was said to have weighed 8 lbs., 4 oz. at birth, although neither parent has commented about that.

According to E! News, an insider revealed Cassie, 33, is loving every minute of motherhood and even having trouble leaving Frankie's side to get some rest. Typical new mommy behavior; how cute!

The E! News source added:

"They want to wait a few more days before they have visitors over but they have been sending photos of their baby girl to all of their friends and showing her off. They are both so in love and so overjoyed they have a healthy baby."

PRE-BABY LIFE

Less than two months before the arrival of her first child, Cassie celebrated her baby shower with several photos showing the great time she had with her "Riverdale" personal trainer beau and friends.

Cassie and Alex, 26, announced they were expecting via Instagram in June. While the singer revealed she couldn't wait to meet their baby girl, the fitness trainer penned a lengthier note to their then-unborn child.

A FATHER'S LOVE

Alex wrote in part:

"I will be the first man in your life and will show you the greatest love and affection now and forever… I promise to be a man that you and your mother look up to and love. I will always listen and put the both of you first. I will show you a healthy relationship and how you deserve to be treated."

Alex and Cassie announced their engagement in August and were married in an intimate Malibu ceremony the same month. The lovebirds made their relationship Instagram official in December 2018.

Cassie's entrance into motherhood comes a little over a year after her split from longtime boyfriend, Sean "Diddy" Combs, was confirmed in October. Here's to many more years of bliss for Cassie and her new family.
