Cassie Confirms She's Expecting First Child with Boyfriend Alex Fine

It’s official! Cassie and her boyfriend, Alex Fine are expecting their first child together eight months after the singer split from her ex of 11 years, Sean “Diddy” Combs. Cassie also revealed her unborn child’s sex.

Reports emerged earlier this month that Cassie, 32, was pregnant and in a new Instagram post, the singer confirms that the speculations are accurate.

Sharing a slideshow with images of herself and Fine, 26, sitting together in a car with a pair of white baby sneakers hanging over the rearview mirror, she wrote:

“Can’t wait to meet our baby girl. Love You Always & Forever.”

It’s been less than 12 hours since Cassie made the announcement, but her good news has already been met with kind wishes from fellow celebrities and fans alike.

“Congratulations Cass!!!! You’re going to be the best mommy!!!!” Khloe Kardashian gushed while supermodel Naomi Campbell wrote: “YES!! PROUD OF YOU SIS.”

According to Baby Center, a woman can find out her baby’s sex anywhere from 16 to 20 weeks, so it’s safe to assume Cassie is at least four months along.

Fine also shared how excited he is to be a daddy by penning a heartfelt letter to his unborn daughter. The professional bull rider and personal trainer confessed to their child that his love for her is “indescribable” while promising always to be there.

“I promise to be at every dance recital, concert, sporting event, school plays whatever you decide to do I will be there and support you. I am your number one fan.

I promise to be a man that you and your mother look up to and love. I will always listen and put the both of you first. I will show you a healthy relationship and how you deserve to be treated.

I promise to never approve of any boy you like because they will never be good enough for my baby girl. Sorry.”

“You’re perfect to me and always will be,” he finished.

Cassie and Fine went public with their romance last December, two months after she parted ways with Diddy. According to several reports, the “Me & U” singer started cheating on her ex after he hired Fine as her personal trainer.

Neither Diddy nor Cassie has addressed the reports, but from the look of things, at least one person has moved on.
