List of Christmas Song Covers Kelly Clarkson Has Delivered on Her Talk Show

Kelly Clarkson has made the holiday season more festive by singer her version of classic Christmas hits.

One of the famous holiday songs she recently performed in her show is Bobby Helms' 1957 Christmas classic, "Jingle Bell Rock," as shown in her show’s YouTube channel.

The “American Idol” champion performed the song with two back-up singers and added her own flavor to the song with a high note at the end.

A HIGHLIGHT ON THE SHOW

One fan could not help but comment, “Kelly reminding everyone why she is the only American Idol with that last note!”

The “American Idol” champion has been spewing fun and heartwarming episodes with her “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” which first aired in September. One of her show’s main highlights is her daily “Kellyoke” segment.

In this segment, the “Because of You” songstress belts out a hit song at the request of her live audience.

SINGING HOLIDAY HITS

With the holiday season in full swing, the talented performer expectedly sang holiday hits during this segment.

Aside from Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock,” she also covered Chuck Berry’s “Run Run Rudolph,” Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and Darlene Love’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”

Clarkson also performed Julie Andrews’ “Sound of Music” song-turned-holiday staple “My Favorite Things” and "Underneath The Tree," from her 2013 holiday album, "Wrapped in Red."

Another special performance was when she enlisted the help of a children’s choir for her own Yuletide song, “Christmas Eve."

The singer released “Christmas Eve” in 2017, as a companion piece to her children’s book, “River Rose and the Magical Christmas,” as reported by TODAY.

Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock, who tied the knot on October 20, 2013, welcomed their first daughter, River Rose Blackstock, together on June 12, 2014.

They welcomed their son Remington Alexander on April 12, 2016. They also raise Blackstock’s two children from a previous marriage.

Clarkson recently gave an emotional performance when she returned to the ‘American Idol’ stage.

The singer was moved to tears as she sang ‘Piece by Piece,’ a song about her father when she was part of a special episode on the show in 2016.

Through the song, the singer offers a glimpse of her relationship with her father, who abandoned her when she was only six years old.
