Nene Leakes Husband Gregg Reveals He Is Officially Cancer-Free
Nene Leakes’ husband, Gregg Leakes, is officially still cancer-free. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” spouse took to his Instagram account on Christmas Day to share the good news with thousands of fans.
It has been an eventful year for the Leakes household as 2019 kicked off with the family continuing the battle against Gregg’s cancer. What better news to end the year than another cancer-free confirmation?

Gregg appears to have visited an oncologist because he posted a test result on Instagram. Across the document, someone had written with a marker: “No cancer detected…Thank you, Jesus.”
At the time, she was working as an exotic dancer – a job Gregg persuaded her to leave. They got engaged within months
“Won’t HE do it. Thank You, Jesus, for Blessing me & Thank you ALL for your Prayers,” the businessman added in the caption, prompting congratulatory comments from fans and celebrity friends.
“Yes, he will!!! If you let him. Amen,” Tamar Braxton wrote while former RHOA star Peer Thomas added: “A lot of prayers were said for you brother you’re a good person keep up the great work, believe in God Almighty, and everything is possible.”
Gregg’s latest clean bill of health is the perfect Christmas gift and comes several months after the reality star got his first cancer-free report. In June, he underwent one final surgery to have his port removed, per the Daily Dish.
Recall that Gregg was diagnosed with cancer in May 2018. Nene asked for prayers, revealing that Gregg had been hospitalized for 15 days and that he was battling stage 3 colon cancer.
From that time, Nene hid nothing about their situation, openly discussing the difficulties the challenges that come with being Gregg’s primary caregiver. She, however, remained by his side.
Gregg also took responsibility for taking out his fears and frustrations on his wife. He publicly apologized and has been extra supportive of his wife’s endeavors ever since.
In September, Gregg accompanied Nene to an appearance on the “Wendy Williams Show,” where the host congratulated him on being cancer-free. “You look great. You look wonderful, and congratulations on being cancer-free,” Wendy said.

Gregg clocked 63 in August, and Nene, regardless of the marital troubles that might have been borne as a result of Gregg’s cancer battle, took to Instagram to gush about him.
“Ain’t nothing like the love of a Leo man! My life would be empty without you in it, Gregg!” she declared. “You have taught me that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pleasing you is a must. I love you forever.”
The couple met in 1996 when Nene was 28 years old. At the time, she was working as an exotic dancer – a job Gregg persuaded her to leave. They got engaged within months, and by 1997, they were married.
Their marriage hit the rocks in 2011 when the couple divorced. At the time, they had a 12-year-old son, Brentt. In 2013, however, Nene and Gregg gave love a second chance and walked down the aisle again.
