Robin Roberts Reveals Girlfriend Amber Laign's Father Has Passed Away

Robin Roberts' longtime girlfriend Amber Laign's father has passed away, and the TV host made sure to pay tribute to him through an Instagram post that remembers him for the great man that he is.

After being together for more than a decade now, Robin Roberts and Amber Laign have gotten to know each other's families like their own. Now that Laign's father has passed away, Robin made sure to commemorate his life for the great man that he is, making sure he is remembered by everyone that way. She said:

"Have sad news to share with you. Sweet Amber's beloved father has pased away. I took this picture of the two of them during our most recent visit. We had a wonderful dinner and it was beautiful to witness their love for one another. He called her his crown jewel. Humbling asking for your prayers during this most difficult time."

AMBER'S PARENTS AND THEIR ACCEPTANCE OF ROBIN

Amber's parents have always been supportive of Robin and Amber, and their openness has made it easier for Robin to get along with their family. In fact, the couple has always tried to spend time with the Laign family as much as they can, trying to make the most out of their time together.

After more than ten years as a couple, Amber's mom once revealed during an interview with The Daily Mail that she and her husband are supportive of their relationship.

"We are very very happy for them. Her dad and I and the whole family are very happy and totally supportive."
