Jana Duggar from 'Counting On' Posts Warm Birthday Tribute to Twin Brother John Who Recently Became a Father

Jana Duggar proudly celebrated her twin brother John-David Duggar as he marked his first birthday as a father.

Birthdays are exceptional, but for "Counting On" star John Duggar, Sunday was extra special as it was his first birthday as a father. Luckily, his twin sister Jana was there to add an extra spice to the day.

Jana took to Instagram to share a series of sweet photos, including one of them as babies and a lovely image of John and Abbie staring at their newborn, Gracie.

Jana began her tribute by recounting how she and John were always asked if they had the "twin thing." While Jana always felt they were an exception to that rule, all that changed when John welcomed his daughter.

In her words:

"Well, John, I've always answered that with a no—but now I can honestly say that the day little Gracie was born, I felt every bit of happiness that you did, so I guess it must be real!"

She went on to gush about how John is "wise, tenderhearted, godly, and patient" and admitted that all those qualities made him a wonderful brother and an amazing dad.

The birthday girl ended the tribute, writing:

"Being an aunt to your little girl is priceless. Being your twin is an honor. Happy birthday, John."

In no time, fans were touched by the sweet words and took to the comments section to congratulate the siblings. Among them was Jana and John's sisters-in-law, Anna Duggar, who is married to Josh.

She wrote:

"So sweet! Happy birthday Jana & John."

Another excited fan gushed:

"Happy birthday, John and Jana. You two are awesome."

After the birthday shoutout, Jana uploaded a series of childhood photos of her and John in another post. PopCulture reports that the subsequent post was to appreciate their parents, Jim and Michelle Duggar, for giving them "the gift of a happy childhood."

The reality television siblings turned 29 a few days after John welcomes his first child, Gracie. The little bundle of joy was born on January 7, weighing 7lbs., 11oz., and measured 20.75 inches.

Proud parents John and Abbie shared the great news with a joint statement to TLC that read:

"Our lives have changed forever with the arrival of our baby girl. She's a beautiful gift from God. We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us."

Jana is known for her outpouring of affection for her brother on social media. This was the case back in August when she took to Instagram congratulate John after the gender reveal party, according to InTouch Weekly.

ScreenRant points out that Jana's tribute post comes after she posted a cryptic post about forgiveness amid the scandal with Jill and Derick Dillard.

According to reports, the couple released inside Duggar information to the public, and that caused a rift between family members.
