Ivanka Trump Looks Chic in Checked Peplum Top and Matching Pencil Skirt at a White House Ceremony
Ivanka Trump is the epitome of elegance as she makes a bold fashion statement in a navy peplum top and pencil skirt ensemble at a recent White House Ceremony.
Ivanka Trump is at it again, and this time she is making all the jaws drop! On Wednesday, the first daughter attended a White House Meeting and made sure to bring her fashion A-game along.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the senior White House adviser dressed to impress in an Oscar de la Renta ensemble as she watched the president sign the first stage of a trade deal with China.
"The designer outfit reportedly cost a whopping $3,700, and the trade deal marks the third time Ivanka has rocked it to an official event."
The pricey outfit which featured a navy peplum top with a white grid pattern was paired with a matching pencil skirt and navy leather pumps.
As noted by Sunday Express, the outfit featured a high neck and a short cap sleeve, which perfectly complemented the former model’s slim frame. She accessorized with a navy wool coat to ward off the cold and carried black Chanel tote bag.
The mother-of-three kept her makeup to the barest minimum and let her trademark blonde bob hairdo frame her face.
Today I met with @IvankaTrump, who has championed the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity initiative. This initiative’s goals are well aligned with the IMF’s to promote women’s economic empowerment which leads to growth, prosperity, and stability. #WGDP pic.twitter.com/HAwEAdwNLJ— Kristalina Georgieva (@KGeorgieva) January 15, 2020
The designer outfit reportedly cost a whopping $3,700, and the trade deal marks the third time Ivanka has rocked it to an official event. The first time Ivanka wore the extravagant piece was in October 2018 when she was spotted heading to work.
The next time was in November 2018 at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires. This time, however, she rocked a pair of white pumps and a white belt.
Before joining her husband, Jared Kushner, to watch President Trump sign the deal, Ivanka met with Kristalina Georgieva, the managing director of the IMF. Pictures from the visit were shared on Kristalina’s page.
The Dolce & Gabbana piece, which had crystal-embellished buttons, was worn to a White House summit on childcare and paid leave for parents. This comes after Ivanka spent the holidays with her husband in the romantic nation of France.
As revealed by Daily Mail, the couple spent Christmas visiting monumental sites like the Louvre.
Ivanka took to her Instagram to share photos from the vacation and shared one of her and Jared posing with the Mona Lisa.
