Keith Urban Rushed Home from Grammys to Take Care of Nicole Kidman Who Is down with the Flu
Keith Urban has his woman on his mind wherever he is. The country singer was concerned at Sunday's Grammys knowing wife Nicole Kidman was down with the flu.
When celebrities gathered together for one of the biggest award nights in Hollywood on Sunday, not all of them were only thinking about the upcoming show.
Keith Urban, 52, was more concerned about getting home to his wife Nicole Kidman, who he revealed was sick and couldn't make it. The clip is found below.
Keith flies solo at Grammys
People TV stopped Urban as he walked the red carpet alone on the big night. The "Somebody Like You" singer first talked about the new, diverse music he has coming out this year.
When one of the reporters pointed out that there was a big gap next to Urban where his wife Kidman would usually be, Urban agreed. He noted that she has the flu, which seems to be going around.
Keith going home "ASAP"
"She's in good hands. She's home with our girls tonight," Urban told the reporter when asked what his family usually does for the illness. He then added, "And I'm heading home ASAP."
Although he was eager to go home, Urban also revealed what he was most looking forward to at the Grammys, which was collaborations between the performing artists.
Keith's Grammy duty
Urban and Kidman, 52, share two daughters: Sunday, 11, and Faith, nine. They've been married for 13 years since 2006. Kidman also has two kids from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
Urban went onto present the first award for Best Pop Solo Performance alongside Cynthia Erivo at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Lizzo won the award for her song, "Truth Hurts."

Donation to Australia
The couple is not just gorgeous on the red carpet, but they're also a force in real life. Earlier this month, Urban and Kidman made a considerable donation to the Australian wildfires.
The two pledged $500,000 to Rural Fire Services to help the animals. They also listed several organizations and encouraged others to donate. Australia is Kidman's home country.
Keith is Nicole's rock
Last week, the "Big Little Lies" actress spoke about her marriage with Urban, stressing on how comfortable the singer makes her feel in their successful union.
Speaking to Australia's "Sunday Life" magazine, Kidman noted that she was a bit more scared before her husband came into her life and now she's not. We hope she recovers soon.
