DRESSED TO THE NINES

Stevie and Faith showed up looking elegant in their respective OOTD’s -Stevie in his dark pants and white long-sleeved top with a silver chain on his neck and Faith in a glittery burgundy gown with a thigh-high slit.

Faith stood tall in her black pointy heels as she showcased her cleavage through her gown’s dangerously low neckline. A great portion of her rose tattoo peeked from one side of her neckline. A ribbon tied around her waist flaunted her slim waist. She kept her hair down as giant curls framed her made-up face.

GLOOM AT THE GRAMMYS

The Grammy celebrations took a serious turn the following day due to the news of Kobe Bryant’s death. Awards night host, Alicia Keys introduced the show paying tribute to the 41-year-old basketball legend who tragically died in a helicopter crash along with eight other people including his daughter, Gianna.

Ironically, the Grammys was held at the Staples Center which Alicia fittingly described as “the house that Kobe Bryant built.” The silence in the room throughout her introduction set the mood for the night.

REMEMBERING KOBE

Many stars paid tribute to Kobe in their own little way following news of his death. Stevie was among those who took to their Instagram to commemorate the iconic athlete. He shared a photo of Kobe about to take a shot and simply captioned it, “R.I.P @kobebryant.”

Kobe's unexpected death drew fans outside the Staples Center while the Grammys was going on. Crowds gathered to share in each other's grief and brought flowers, candles, jerseys, and other basketball memorabilia. The stadium lights turned purple and gold as an ode to Kobe who played for the Los Angeles Lakers for over two decades.
