Miley Cyrus Posts Video of Her 2013 MTV EMAs Appearance as She Speculates Why She Wasn't Invited to 2020 Grammys
A number of celebrities are currently still living down the experience of attending the 2020 Grammy Awards. One singer who isn’t too thrilled about the event is Miley Cyrus.
Miley was one of the stars who never attended the event. She recently took to social media to share that she wasn’t invited, but the musician also speculated on the main reason for the snub.
Via Instagram, the pop singer posted a throwback video of herself to throw shade at the Grammys. She captioned the post jokingly writing: “& we wonder why I'm not invited to award shows anymore.”

Miley shades the Grammys
The clip she posted showed her smoking what appeared to be marijuana which she pulled out from her handbag at the 2013 MTV EMA’s. Even though the "Wrecking Ball" singer wasn’t at the event, she had some family members who did attend.
Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus attended with the singer’s younger sister Noah. The well-known country singer was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and the Best Music Video along with Lil Nas X for the song "Old Town Road."
Billy Ray dedicates awards to Kobe
He won two Grammys for his efforts. Taking to social media, Billy Ray posted an image where he held both awards and wrote a heartfelt caption.
The musician revealed that he was dedicating his awards to Kobe and his daughter Gianna Bryant. He also sent his condolences and prayers to the Bryant family.
Miley shares old clip ft. dad
The basketball star passed away over the weekend after their plane crashed. Showing that she wasn’t bitter about missing the Grammys on Sunday, Miley shared a clip featuring herself, her father, and Lil Nas X singing together.
Pop singer congratulates father
The “Slide Away” singer congratulated both her father and Lil Nas X on their win. She joked that she loved them “both like family .... well one I HAVE to love like family and the other one I WANT to!... love u bro.”
Lil Nas X holds chart’s No.1 spot
Lil Nas X’s "Old Town Road” managed to maintain the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 19. It had the most time on the number one spot in the charts 60-plus year history.
