Lil Nas X has responded after a fellow rapper Pastor Troy came for him in a lengthy "homophobic rant." Pastor Troy had an issue with Lil Nas X's outfit to the Grammys, but the latter's response was hilarious.
Lil Nas X made headlines with his bold choice of a pink cowboy outfit on the Granny Awards red carpet on Sunday. As it turned out, however, not everyone was a fan of the style pick, including Pastor Troy.

The Atlanta rapper launched into a tirade on Instagram, slamming Lil Nas X, who came out as gay last year. "Welp, Guess I won't be winning a GRAMMY…If this what I gotta wear," he began in the now-deleted post.
The 20-year-old would later share a hilarious meme trolling the older rapper's resentment for gay men eating mozzarella sticks.
Pastor Troy then went on to rant about how "they" had an agenda to rob black men of their masculinity, recalling how Applebee's recently had some men "kissing and laughing eating mozzarella sticks."
Pastor Troy said he was proud when his 14-year-old son saw the sight and threw a curse word at the restaurant franchise. In the rapper's words: "It Brought Joy to My Heart!!"
"Some may say, 'He Making Money!!'" Pastor Troy continued in reference to Lil Nas X. "Rupaul do too, but I ain't bumping his CD!!! Integrity is Priceless. Y'all Better open that 3rd Eye and let your Sons Know What Is Real."
A Twitter user shared screenshots of Pastor Troy's post, including a picture of Lil Nas X in his pink outfit that the rapper had attached. When the "Old Town Road" rapper came across the message, he retweeted with a response.
"[Expletive] I look good in that pic on god," the genre-redefining artist wrote. Tons of social media users replied to the post, expressing differing views on the controversy.
"Just because he's against homosexuality doesn't make him homophobic," one tweeter said in support of Pastor Troy. "It just means he doesn't agree with it. Please carefully choose words and don't try to make a hate monger of him."
Another person, however, pointed out that music icons like Liberace and Elton John received similar criticism as Lil Nas X. "The only thing you doing @LilNasX is giving the black community an opportunity to be themselves. Gay or Straight, everyone deserves true freedom," they added.
Besides his show-stopping Grammy outfit, Lil Nas X also made headlines for taking home two of the coveted gramophones for the remix of his viral hit "Old Town Road," Yahoo! News reported.
Alongside country music star Billy Ray Cyrus who featured on the chart-topping remix, Lil Nas X took home the Grammys for Best Music Video and Best Duo/Group Performance.
Lil Nas X first found fame when his breakout hit "Old Town Road" became a fan-favorite on the video-sharing app TikTok. The remix, featuring Cyrus, then spent a record-breaking 19 weeks on top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
