Prince Harry's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, has been faced with personal battles since the step down of the Sussex Royals from their duties as senior Royals.

The exit of the Sussexes has left a rift in the Royal family, and the loyal Duchess fears things would never be the same again, especially her bond with the 35-year-old Prince, a source revealed to "US Weekly."

THE DUCHESS IS PAINED BY HARRY'S EXIT

Speaking to the outlet, an insider disclosed that the 38-year-old had spent the last few weeks mourning the loss of the close bond she once shared with her brother-in-law while recounting the countless nights the mother-of-three has spent in tears. The source added:

"She wishes she could speak to Harry. She misses him and fears she'll never be close to him again."

Aside from the emotional implication of the Sussexes exit on Kate, there are also physical implications. According to the source, Kate's workload has increased tremendously, extending her work period to an average of eighteen hours a day.

KATE AND MEGHAN HAVE DRIFTED APART

Although they have never been each other's favorites, the move of the "Suits" star and her husband to Canada has further worsened the brewing rancor between the two Duchesses.

The decision was not made lightly, but was spurred by years of reflection and challenges.

Amid the Royal family crisis, Kate and Meghan have barely been on good terms. An insider revealed that both women have not spoken to each other since the royal exit of the Sussex pair.

PRINCE WILLIAMS IS ANGERED BY HIS BROTHER'S DECISION

Harry's brother, Prince Williams, has not taken well to the news either. According to reports, the Duke of Cambridge was distraught by the news, and it added to the Kate's burden as it pained her to see her husband upset. The source said:

"When Harry was feeling low or had problems, William was always there for him, as was Kate. Kate's incredibly hurt too...and hates seeing her husband so upset."

While the Duchess misses her husband's brother and yearned to cement the rift and speak to him, the two brothers were far from making that happen as they have "refused to make amends."

KATE HAS BECOME THE FAVORITE ROYAL

Snagging the label from the "Suits" alum, Kate has sailed up the charts as the "more favorable" Royal, with every media outlet singing her praises for being a dutiful Duchess amid the Royal crisis.

Unfortunately, her improved fandom came at the expense of Meghan, who has since been blamed for causing the Royal feud.

Earlier this month, Prince Harry cleared the air in a speech delivered at a private fundraiser, stating that the decision was made solely by him contrary to what might have been reported by the media.

He also noted that the decision was not made lightly, but was spurred by years of reflection and challenges. It, however, seems the Prince's speech did nothing to divert media attention from his wife.
