Us Weekly: Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Will Reportedly Tie the Knot This Summer

Last year, Alex Rodriguez proposed to singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. Now a source has given an update on when the pair will actually get married and it’s supposedly happening this year!

Rodriguez, 44, and Lopez, 50, are set to tie the knot “this summer,” according to an insider. The famous couple was confirmed to be dating in March 2017.

After the news came out, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala two months later. In August 2018, Lopez honored the former New York Yankees' athlete at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Lopez calls Rodriguez her “twin soul”

During her Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech, she gushed that the former sportsman was “like my twin soul.” Rodriguez had the pleasure of watching her give the moving speech from the audience.

The “Hustlers” actress went on to state that they were “like mirror images of each other.” She continued explaining how her life was now “sweeter and better” with Rodriguez in it.

“You’re my macho, and I love you”

The model concluded saying: “There is so much more to do, to experience, and there is no one I’d rather do it with, baby. You’re my macho, and I love you.” The former football star eventually proposed to Lopez in March 2019.

The proposal occurred during a tropical vacation. Taking to Instagram with a video, Rodriguez revealed that “She said yes.”

The star also shared an image of his fiancée wearing a square-cut diamond ring. Rodriguez was previously married to Cynthia Scurtis.

The two ended up divorcing in 2008 after six years of marriage. The former couple is parents to two daughters, Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11.

For her part, Lopez was previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony. She shares twins Max and Emme, 11, with Anthony.

They divorced in 2014. Even though her past three marriages ended in divorce, the musician previously revealed that she was keen on getting married again.
