Entirely unexpected was the divorce as it seemed the couple was happy at the time, and everyone seems interested in what would become of baby Eissa's fate since the split.

Jackson, who had been previously married to James DeBarge between 1984 and 1985, and René Elizondo Jr. between 1991 and 2000 had no offspring from either union.

Janet and Wissam, who had a secret wedding in 2012, have been very private in their marital affairs. After their divorce, speculations rose with a close ally of theirs saying they had gotten a goodwill separation.

Another source revealed that the couple had their significant differences ranging from their religious perspectives to their personality beliefs.

Wissam's lawyers stated that Eissa's dad wasn't going to give a response to the painful allegations of being an abusive husband.

The informant noted that Wissam, being a very strong-willed person, was quite bull-headed sometimes, and this didn't settle well with the free-spirited Jackson.

Their "friend" also noted that the couple knew their marriage was over before their son was born. The best-selling music artist moved out of the billionaire's house shortly after their split.

Janet's immediate elder brother Randy informed People that his sister was assaulted verbally by Al Mana, adding that no pregnant woman should undergo being called those censored names daily.

The former couple was so secretive that after separating, it took a while before Jackson came out and posted a confirmation video of their division. In the clip, she gave updates about her Unbreakable World Tour, which she had suspended during her son's pregnancy.

Wissam's lawyers however, stated that Eissa's dad wasn't going to give a response to the painful allegations being levied against him.

Probably in a guise not to let out news of their divorce, Mana put a message on his official website to praise Janet as the most beautiful person in the world. A family relative of Janet also spoke up about the divorce and Jackson saying,

"She's never in a relationship too long. Her longest was René, and that was almost ten years. Marriage doesn't agree with her. She doesn't agree with her."

There were claims that Al Mana might have pressurized his ex. He reportedly tried to force her to live according to Muslim customs.

They tried to co-parent Eissa after separating. Jackson once called the police to check on her baby's daddy, who was relaxing with his son. She had feared that he was using drugs in front of the kid. It turned out to be a false alarm.
