Derek Hough from DWTS Dances Joyfully with His Beautiful Mom in a New Video

Derek Hough shares an adorable video of him and his sweet mom breaking moves on Instagram. They looked so adorable!

The Dancing with the Stars six-time pro champion recently posted a video of him dancing with his mom in a living room.

The video is super cute as his mother, Mari Anne Hough, breaks into occasional laughter with her son. With the way she skillfully mirrored his dance step as he takes the lead in their cute choreography, it was evident that they have the dancing gene!

Many fans were delighted with the video and commented on the post. Fans pointed out that even the dog, which was also present in the video, was affected with happiness. Derek captioned the clip,

"Morning dance with my mom! Great way to start the day . I encourage you to grab someone and start dancing with them. Smiles guaranteed ?"

Other fans encouraged him to cherish such family moments, and some referred to his mother's youthfulness. The video gained over three hundred thousand views on Instagram within two days of being posted.

Although only Derek and Julliane, the youngest siblings, are professional dancers like their parents and grandparents, the whole family is undoubtedly gifted with dance moves.

This is not the only time Derek and his mom have shared a sweet moment on social media. Last year, the "World of Dance" judge posted a video on Instagram of his mom watching him during his tour rehearsals.

When the song "Do you Love Me" comes on, Derek stretches his arm towards his mother, who eagerly joins him in a dance. The music switches to "My Girl," and a happy Derek twirls her around the room.

Derek captions the video, "Nothing like havin your mom pop into rehearsals and givin her a twirl. #mygirl #thetour."

Derek also has a famous sibling, Julianne Hough, who is a dancer, actress, songwriter, and singer. She has been on the "Dancing with the Stars" show and is a two-time professional champion of DWTS.

The Emmy Award-winning brother-and-sister choreographers performed in the NBC hour-long special at last year's Christmas season in a musical and dance show called "Holiday with the Houghs."

They also have more siblings. There are five children born to Mari Anne and Bruce Hough, and Derek is the only male child. All four of the Hough's grandparents were dancers while their parents met in a ballroom dancing competition in College.
