Jay-Z and Daughter Blue Ivy Went on Daddy-Daughter Date as They Attended Lakers-Clippers Game in Staples Center
Jay-Z and his daughter, Blue Ivy, attended the Los Angeles basketball derby match on a father-daughter date.
The LA Clippers lost 103-112 to the LA Lakers, earning LeBron James and his teammates the basketball bragging rights in L.A. Watching the game at the Staples Center was Jay-Z and his daughter, Blue Ivy, 8.
Father and daughter were on a date, as the other members of the Jay-Z-Beyoncé dynasty, twins, Rumi and Sir, and their mother were not present on the night.

Jay-Z was ever so proud to be with his daughter. When the legendary rapper posed for a picture with Blue Ivy, he wore a big smile and wrapped his arms around her.
The NBA was also honored to have Jay-Z grace the big match and showed their appreciation to him by posting three photos of him and Blue Ivy, along with a caption that read:
"Jay Z brought his daughter Blue Ivy for @Lakers/@LAClippers!"
Blue Ivy wore a black top and leggings, which she matched with black combat boots. She also had a jeans jacket spread on her laps during the game, which she wore for some of the pictures.
Jay-Z, on the other hand, wore a grey sweatshirt and black pants. He matched his look with a greyish-white canvas and accessorized with a gold chain and baseball cap.

Blue Ivy seemed to be enthused by the game, as she had her eyes fixed on the court at most times, she also leaned on her father's shoulders many times.
The pair were also caught pointing to the court after Blue had whispered something to her father, who then explained what was going on in the court.
After the game, Jay-Z introduced his daughter to the basketball players, and she looked at ease, smiling sweetly. It will be recalled that Jay-Z and Blue also attended the Super Bowl last month.
Blue is already following in the footsteps of her famous parents, as she won the NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Duo/Group, for her input in the song, "Brown Skin Girl."
Blue sang a few lines in the song, which also featured her mother and Nigerian artist, Wizkid, and Saint Jhn. Beyoncé was also a recipient of six awards on the night, including outstanding soundtrack/compilation album for "The Lion King: The Gift."

Blue also has a large listener base on Spotify, despite not being an official artist, but only making little appearances on her parents' songs.
