Following the birth of her second child, the reality TV show star has been hitting the gym in a bid to keep her body fit, and she has seen great results.
The mother of two showed off her new look in a black top and animal print shorts via an Instagram post. The caption read:
"Checking in with you guys! I'm currently 22 months post-baby, and I feel like myself again... I'm here to tell you, you can do it.."
The actress has always been concerned about her fitness. But beyond that, she has come to accept her body as her own and live with the things she cannot change.
One of the things the mother of two cannot change is her stretch marks. In an Instagram post, Tia told her fans that she's "embracing the excess skin and the stretch marks."
She was fat-shamed because of her post-pregnancy belly fat.
The Instagram photo showed the "Twitches" twin actress in the gym working out her arms and torso. She wore a loosely fitting orange top with gym pants and had her hair cropped short and natural.
In the caption, the actress expressed gratitude for her two children and spoke on the challenges of working out post-pregnancy. The post read in part:
"Let's talk about the #mid-section after #pregnancy! It can be the most challenging! I'm embracing the excess skin and stretch marks."
The reality TV show star has been advocating that mothers accept their post-pregnancy bodies without shame. She knew what that felt like because she was fat-shamed of her post-pregnancy belly fat.
In an Instagram post, the 41-year-old star told women to accept their bodies and stop body-shaming others. She documented her experience while pregnant because she wanted to show other women there was nothing to be ashamed of.
Speaking with Daily Pop, Tia recently divulged that she would not join "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast after working with Kenya Moore on her "Bravo" show.
The mother of two told co-hosts Carissa Culiner and Justin Sylvester that she wasn't going to join the "RHOA" because of the scary things Moore had told her. She has featured in her show "Tia & Tamera."
