Matthew Gray Gubler of "Criminal Minds" fame celebrated his parents on his birthday by recreating an old photo that featured them together, leaving his fans filled with excitement.
Matthew Gray Gubler, who is famous for his role as Spencer Reid on CBS "Criminal Minds," recently celebrated his 40th birthday.
The actor paid a very special tribute to his parents, John Gubler, and Marilyn Gubler, on his birthday by sharing a throwback picture of him and his parents, as well as a recreated version of it.
The older picture had a young Matthew, held by his mother, and sitting on her laps. The young and smiling Matthew was in the middle of his parents, who also smiled for the cute family portrait.
In the recreated version, birthday boy Matthew is wearing pajamas, smiling, and seated on both his parents' laps while they, now very much older, are smiling and also seated. Matthew captioned his post thus:
"Thank you for all the birthday wishes but thank you most of all to my parents for making me."
A third picture from the post showed Matthew swapping roles with his mother. The actor is seated beside his father, while his mother, who he holds on to so sweetly, sat on his lap, making for a beautiful family photo.

Matthew Gubler was born on March 9, 1980, in Las Vegas. He got his first role in 2004, when he starred in "The Life Aquatic," where he played the role of "Nico."
Matthew began starring in "Criminal Minds" in 2005 and has been with the show for fifteen years. Other notable movies by the actor include "Days of Summer," "Life After Beth," and "Suburban Gothic."
