Idris Elba & Justin Trudeau's Wife Sophie Posed for Pic Together Days before Testing Positive for Coronavirus
Idris Elba and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau posed for a few pictures days before both parties tested positive for coronavirus.
Some days before it was publicly announced that Idris Elba and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, had tested positive for coronavirus, the pair had snapped pictures together during an event in London.

According to People, the pictures, which were shared via Sophie’s Instagram page, showed the pair looking relaxed as they smiled at the camera during the WE Day charity event that held at SSE Arena on Wednesday, March 4.
Idris Elba [explained] that even though he had shown no symptoms he had gotten tested after he realized his exposure to someone who had similarly tested positive.
Speaking of the event that had tackled the social issues with the hopes of bringing people that would change the world both locally and globally, Sophie said in the post’s caption:
“My heart is full after spending time working with my own family and the WE family..."
While it was revealed on March 12 that Sophie had the virus, it wasn’t until Monday, March 16 that news of Idris’ diagnosis became public.
People reported that the actor had shared a social media video explaining that even though he had shown no symptoms he had gotten tested after he realized his exposure to someone who had similarly tested positive.
The “Luther” star added that while “it sucks” to have the virus, he was “doing okay” as he had quarantined himself at home with his wife Sabrina Dhowre, who was yet to be tested.
Another celebrity who was said to have contracted the virus was Juventus Football Club player, Daniele Rugani, whose status was revealed by his team’s website on March 11.
Vietnamese socialite, Nga Nguyen, and her sister also tested positive for coronavirus just days after they attended fashion shows in Milan and Paris.
According to People, the pair had flown to Italy on February 18, where they participated at the Gucci fall 2020 fashion show.

However, it wasn’t until March 2 that Nga noticed she had developed a cough while on a work trip. That incident led her to her doctor’s office, where she and her sister found out they were positive.
