Gabby Sidibe from 'Empire' Posts Photo of Herself & Her Friend Wearing Face Masks Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

'Empire' star, Gabourey Sidibe, wore a facial mask amid concerns about the coronavirus virus pandemic as she made a toy run with her boyfriend to buy something for her cat.

Gabourey Sidibe had to a few minutes to escape from her house to make an important purchase for her cat. Wearing a pink facial mask, she wrote in her caption:

"Aaron been hella good. Finna go get him a new toy. ✌"

Gabourey's new beau, Brandon Frankel, posed alongside her before they headed out to get their feline a special gift.

Although he didn't have a protective mask on his face, he covered his mouth with a black and white bandana. One fan shared her concern for the couple and encouraged them to stay safe.

After nearly putting her health at risk just to spoil her favorite cat, Gabourey’s admitted that Aaron's reception to the new toy didn't go quite go as planned, she shared:

"Braved the #Coronavirus to go get this cat a new toy and he ignored it to play with this rubber band..."

Many of her fans, which are used to her witty candor in most of her posts about her cat, found the final outcome to be hilarious.

Other fans, who have cat themselves found the whole experience to be a relatable, yet teachable moment as many of them argued it was common for cats to find interest in something else other than the gifts they get.

Aaron isn't the only special person in Gabourey's life. According to Daily Mail, she has been dating Brandon since May 2019.

He works in the music industry and focuses on marketing and branding. Although she rarely shares pictures of him on her Instagram account, Brandon has documented most of their most memorable moments.

Gushing over their newfound love, Brandon shared a lengthy heartfelt message about how grateful is to have Gabourey’s life in his life, he said:

"THIS Queen right here. You're a ball of sunshine, so generous and giving of your time and love- and your excitement and passion."

Gabourey's love life is only one of the many things she has to look forward to in the coming months. It is reported, after undergoing laparoscopic bariatric surgery, fans have been complimenting her on her weight loss.

Years ago, she opened about to her fans about the surgery, saying that after he brother was diagnosed with diabetes, she had the procedure done to be healthier.
