She has shown her interest in pursuing a career in music in the past, and she is known as CHOC in the industry, but she knows that fashion is a way to help others accept themselves.

20-year-old Cori Broadus took to her Instagram feed on March 19, 2020, to tell her fans the news about her latest partnership, once again showing her love for fashion and trendsetting.

Broadus posed for a pair of pictures wearing some clothing items from the plus-size fashion brand Fashion Nova Curve (although her sweat pants are clearly from Nike), and tagged the brand’s social media in the caption.

In 2018, the also singer made an empowered move and went on to shave her head as a symbol of being in charge of her own image and body, inviting other women to have the courage to try anything.

One day prior to the post, Broadus also modeled some urban style pieces by the brand, once again showcasing her self-confidence by captioning the pictures taken by the seashore, “crown me.”

COMFORTABLE IN HER OWN SKIN

Long gone are the days when Broadus had to struggle with her self-image, and ever since she embraced her beauty and freed herself from external beauty standards, she has never stopped searching for ways to express her identity.

Her past insecurities were probably worsened by the fact that she was the youngest child (and only daughter) of rap legend Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus, which made it harder for her to find her own voice and be seen as an adult.

Cori’s social media activity and her frequently suggestive photos are not always well received by everyone, and she has to deal with her share of haters that maliciously comment on her weight or try to shame her for being comfortable in her own skin.

A BOLD MOVEMENT

Cori might use to care more about what others had to say about her, her attitudes, and her looks, but she is definitely is not a pleaser, and she hopes to inspire others to defy convention as she does.

In 2018, the also singer made an empowered move and went on to shave her head as a symbol of being in charge of her own image and body, inviting other women to have the courage to try anything.

She was so happy with the result that she took to social media to reveal her Hollywood dreams by stating that she should have been cast in the film “Black Panther.”
