A TALK WITH KANYE

West is known for his profound lyrics that are in-depth with meaning in every line, stemming from his past experiences and current situations, among many others.

The words which he used to express himself in WSJ’s interview was no different and surely didn’t disappoint. In fact, the rapper confidently spoke as if he was quoting a verse from one of his songs.

“We fall down and we get back up. That’s the sign of champions. Anything I do, three times a year, people say, ‘Whoa, that’s the end. That’s the last we’ll see of him!’” he said before continuing:

“People say I’m out of control. I’m not out of control. I’m out of their control.”

The “Stronger” rapper didn’t hold back from discussing any topics -- from his YEEZY brand to his support for Donald Trump, honesty was his best interest.

Their feud began at the 2009 MTV VMAs when the rapper interrupted Swift’s acceptance for Best Female Video of the Year Award but later apologized for his actions.

AN INSPIRATION TO MANY

West spoke from experience when he said: “The word ‘ambitious’ is beneath my abilities.” He started as a simple man who aspired to excel in his own expertise before reaching great heights.

With experience, West felt failure and triumph, not only in his career and business but also in love. In 2016, the Grammy Award-winning artist had a “breakdown from attempting to put together all of the pieces.”

He founded the YEEZY name that became a sought-after brand by people all over the globe. He said of YEEZY:

“I believe that YEEZY is the McDonald’s and the Apple of apparel. It has to be a new invention. To invent something that’s so good that you don’t even get credit for it because it’s the norm.”

In 2016, their feud was again set on fire after the song “Famous” explicitly spoke about the “You Belong with Me” singer. However, it was believed that Swift approved of the lyrics’ release.
