China McClain of 'House of Payne' Poses with a Little Girl in Throwback Pic & Fans Call Them Cute
Actress China McClain recently took to social media to share a throwback picture of herself and a little girl. Fans of the "Black Lightning" star were smitten by the adorable duo in the Instagram photo and expressed themselves in the comment section.
You probably remember China McClain from her role as "Jazmine Payne" in Tyler Perry's comedy series "House of Payne," which ran for eight seasons until it ended in 2012.

The 21-year-old actress recently took to social media to share an old photo of her posing with a little girl. The girl, Brielle Skye, is the winner of the 2012 National American Miss Princess pageant. McClain captioned the Instagram post,
"#goingthrougholdphotos"
Fans of the actress took to the comments section to express their delight at the Instagram photo. One fan wrote, "so cute," while another one commented, "This is the cutest." Others mentioned that both girls in the photo looked adorable.
Skye also posted a video from her meeting with McClain on her Instagram story and tagged the actress who reposted it. In the video, China offered Brielle a high-five, but the little girl turned it down and went in for a hug with the actress. McClain, who seemed at first surprised at Skye's gesture, later reciprocated with a big smile on her face.

The actress began her acting career at the age of 7 by acting on "The Gospel" alongside Idris Elba. She later united with Elba on Tyler Perry's movie "Daddy's Little Girls."
She got her popularly known role as Jazmine Payne on Perry's series "House of Payne" in 2006. Mcclain was also once a former children television star on Disney with her big debut on the channel being, "A.N.T. Farm," which premiered in June 2011.

The Disney show, which aired for 62 episodes, starred Mcclain as a musical prodigy, and her performance on the show earned her an NAACP image award. A couple of years back, China Mcclain left her television series career to continue at CW on their superhero series, "Black Lightning."
It was announced in 2017, that McClain would play Jennifer Pierce, the younger daughter of Jefferson Pierce, also known by his superhero name, Black Lightning.
It was also added that "Code Black" actress Nafessa Williams would be starring alongside China as the elder daughter of the superhero. The series which currently airs on the CW network follows the lives of the two daughters who are following in their father's step to becoming heroes.
