Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez's plea for people to stay home shortly after they had a Miami gym open up for a workout caused mixed reactions from fans.
The "Hustlers" actress took to social media on Wednesday with a response to Governor Andrew Cuomo's #IStayHomeFor campaign, and the comments soon streamed in.

WHO THEY ARE STAYING HOME FOR
The campaign calls on those participating to state who they are staying in quarantine to protect, and in the video with Alex, Jennifer said:
"Hey everyone! We want you to please stay home to stop the spread of COVID-19. We're staying home to protect those on the frontlines."
FANS NOTICED THEY HAVEN'T BEEN STAYING AT HOME
The video comes shortly after the celebrity couple got spotted leaving their local Miami gym - despite Governor Ron DeSantis' statewide stay-at-home orders due to the spread of the coronavirus.
A concession seemingly made for Alex and Jennifer, as the sign on the door reportedly read that "this gym is not open," adding that people should "stay home, stay safe."
NETIZENS RESPOND
The trip to their local gym, and the couple's appeal for people to stay home didn't sit too well with some followers, as one wrote:
"Didn’t y’all go to a gym? Lolllll YALL NEED TO STAY HOME TOO!"
On the other hand, followers also stated that it's "easy" for celebrities like Jennifer and Alex to stay at home because they don't have to "worry about feeding your kids and bills."
HOW THEY ARE SPENDING TIME IN ISOLATION
Apart from the couple's visit to the gym, they've mostly stayed at home. Seizing the extra time, Alex decided to use it to work on his swing and shared his first video from his "ARod baseball clinic."
In the video, Alex and played ball with the "four powerful young women" in his life and shared that he and Jennifer had a "blast" with her daughter Emme and his two daughters Ella and Natasha.
WEDDING PLANS ON PAUSE
Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic also put Jennifer Lopez and fiance Alex Rodriguez's wedding plans on hold.
According to the 50-year-old singer, she and Alex are in a "holding pattern like the rest of the world," and they are waiting it out before making any other arrangements over the next few months.
