Mia Farrow's Daughter Quincy Hospitalized Following Her Struggle with COVID-19

Recently actress Mia Farrow revealed that one of her daughters had caught the novel coronavirus disease. The star shared the news via a social media post.

Farrow, 75, took to Twitter recently where she announced her adopted daughter, Quincy, 26, had contracted COVID-19. The “Great Gatsby" actress asked her fans if they would “please send up a prayer for my daughter Quincy.”

The star explained how her daughter had no choice but to get herself admitted to the hospital as she fought against the virus. It’s believed that the actress adopted Quincy in 1994 when she was just one year old.

Farrow’s daughter is married

The actress’ daughter was born Kaeli-Shea. Farrow often shares photos of herself with her daughter on social media.

Last week, she uploaded a throwback photo in honor of Quincy's wedding anniversary with her husband, Ethan. The couple shares a daughter of their own, Coretta.

The “Rosemary’s Baby” actress has also stepped out with Quincy for a number of occasions. In 2011, Quincy joined Farrow at the Marian Anderson Awards gala which was held in Philadelphia.

Farrow’s human rights work

At the event, the actress and human rights activist was honored with an award that is set aside for artists whose leadership benefits humanity. There have been several actors and stars that have become infected with the novel coronavirus disease since it started spreading to other countries.

Pink & son have COVID-19

Most recently, Pink revealed that she and her son, Jameson, 3, had tested positive for the virus. She explained on social media that they began showing symptoms for the disease before getting retested and are now negative.

John Prine dead from virus

Singer-songwriter, John Prine, 73, passed away on April 7, 2020, after being hospitalized on March 26, 2020. At the time, his family had said he had “a sudden onset of Covid-19 symptoms.”

Elba and Hanks have virus

Idris Elba and his wife, Sabrina Dhowre, have also tested positive for COVID-19. Tom Hanks and his wife and fellow actor Rita Wilson also contracted the virus and revealed their status on March 11, 2020.

At the time, the pair was in Australia where Hanks was working.
