Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson still share happiness in celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a sweet Instagram photo.

CHMERKOVSKIY’S TRIBUTE TO JOHNSON

The “Dancing with the Stars” dancer posted a sweet tribute to his wife on Instagram, alongside a cute wedding photo of them eating cake in bed.

The power couple tied the knot last year at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palo Verdes California and exchanged wedding vows surrounded by a beautiful floral set up.

He began his poem post by showing gratefulness to have Johnson by his side. “I am so grateful that it’s you that I get to call my wife, that it’s you I get to wake up next to, that it’s you I get to love for life.”

Chmerkovskiy highlighted that his wife serves as his daily inspiration to be a better person and succeed. He ended his post by saying:

“I will love you from now till eternity. Happy April 13th, our wedding anniversary.”

Despite observing self-quarantine in their home, the couple still finds joy in each other’s love as they celebrated their special day.

JOHNSON TURNS 26

Johnson celebrated her 26th birthday just one day before their anniversary. Because of the current situation, the couple celebrated at home.

Their at-home party included golden balloons that formed the number 26, a “Happy Birthday” banner, chocolates, and gifts. Johnson’s husband took to Instagram to document the day with the caption:

“Happy birthday to my beautiful wife. You are perfect.”

Johnson looked like a beautiful bride in a long-sleeved Vera Wang gown, which she paired with a crystal embedded headpiece and Bridal Styles Boutique veil.

Johnson later changed to a Kleinfeld white dress, while her husband looked dapper in a Brooks Brothers black velvet tuxedo during the ceremony and reception.

Their guests included Adam Rippon, Alfonso Ribeiro, Lindsay Arnold, Nikki Bella, Gabby Diaz, Emma Slater, Cheryl Burke, Sasha Farber, and Brandon Armstrong.
