Porsha Williams Wishes Loyal Friend Shawntae Harris AKA Da Brat a Happy 46th Birthday
Porsha Williams celebrates her friend Shawntae Harris aka Da Brat's 46th birthday through a touching tribute on Instagram.
After her stint in the music industry as a chart-topping rapper, Da Brat decided to venture into the radio industry as a host. For the past couple of years, she's been on "Dish Nation," where she eventually crossed paths with Porsha Williams.
After Da Brat joined the show, she made good relationships with her co-hosts, Headkrack, Gary With Da Tea, Rock T, and of course, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams herself.

A GOOD FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
That is why now that Da Brat's turned 46, Porsha made sure to celebrate her good friend on Instagram. While they haven't seen each other in a while due to the COVID-19 quarantine, it didn't stop her from showing love to her co-host.
"I'm so thankful that our paths crossed and I've spent the last couple years now by your side acting being crazy and having fun on our show!"
A CHERISHED FRIENDSHIP
The "RHOA" star went on to share how good and loyal Da Brat is as a friend, and how she's one of the coolest people she knows. She also wished that her friend would get whatever it is her heart desires.
Da Brat was in legal trouble in the early 2000s, which was the reason why she was away from the music industry for years.
A SURPRISING BIRTHDAY GIFT
Aside from Porsha, Da Brat's girlfriend, Jesseca "Judy" Dupart, CEO of Kaleidoscope Hair Products, made sure to express her love to the host in an extravagant way as well. To celebrate her birthday, she gifted her with a brand new Bentley.
Of course, Da Brat couldn't help but gush about the sweet gesture on Instagram, thanking her girlfriend for the incredible birthday gift she's received, explaining how she's never felt this way before.
HER PREVIOUS LEGAL TROUBLES
The rapper-turned-host is clearly in a much better place now, as compared to how she was in the past. Da Brat was in legal trouble in the early 2000s, which was the reason why she was away from the music industry for years.
While she acquired worldwide fame for her albums in the '90s, she was allegedly involved in two serious physical altercations. She served jail time for one of these situations and was ordered to pay over $6 million to her victim.
While this all made headlines back then, Da Brat is in a much better place and is surrounded by all the best people who continue to make her thrive like the star that she is.
