After her first marriage failed, the soft-spoken actress got married to screenwriter William Broyles Jr. They were together from 1988 to 1992.
The iconic actress has built an impressive profile in the entertainment industry, featuring in several television and film productions. Still, what she is most proud of is her son — Lucius Cary.

Lucius Cary is the only child of Linda Purl, and she had him with her third husband, Alexander Cary, who she got married to in 1993. Linda Purl's spouse Alexander Cary was born on February 1, 1963, in London, England, as Lucius Alexander Plantagenet Cary.

Earlier in February, Lucius celebrated his 25th birthday, and as expected, his mom was right by his side to make it a memorable day. While wishing her son a happy birthday, the doting mom shared a picture of her and her son alongside a special birthday message. She wrote in the caption:
"25 years ago today, 14 hours of labor were worth every second for this beautiful boy! So grateful to be his Mom."
Apart from being the only son of famous parents, Lucius Cary is a professional soccer player. The talented midfielder is blessed with quick feet, and an excellent passing range, which allows him to pick out those killer passes in games.
The former Drogheda United player has steadily built his profile within the United States as a promising talent, and he is eligible to represent either the UK or America in future competitions. Through the years, his mom has been his biggest fan and continues to cheer him on game days.
Linda and her son, Lucius, are inseparable, and it's clear for everyone to see that the young footballer enjoys the company and attention of his mother.
