Don Lemon of CNN Fixes Intern's Makeup and Helps Him Make Demo Tape in Throwback Video
Don Lemon shares a throwback video of when he helped a young CNN intern make a demo tape from years ago.
Don Lemon has been a CNN anchor for years now, and he decided to share a throwback video from 2013 when he helped an intern named Omar in creating his demo tape.
REMEMBERING AN ACT OF KINDNESS
Now, a good seven years later, Omar is one of CNN's talented correspondents and it's something Don is proud to look back at. He reminded his followers to always lend a helping hand and to chase dreams.
"Always help. Always follow your dreams. He saved this and showed it to me tonight. So proud!!!"
STAYING GRATEFUL AMID REACHING SUCCESS
Although the kind gesture that Don did happened years ago, Omar had not forgotten about it. In fact, he remains grateful for that day, as he is now one of their most notable correspondents, having written and reported on numerous breaking news stories.
Among his work includes reporting about the Notre Dame Cathedral fire while he was in Paris, the tragic Las Vegas mass shooting, and the 2017 Florida and Texas hurricanes that ended up being a part of CNN's Emmy-nominated coverage.
THE CNN CREW AND THEIR CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS
The CNN crew has proven time and time again how they've built close relationships with one another at work. Recently, Lemon was seen on TV trying to fight back tears after talking about his colleague Chris Cuomo's COVID-19 diagnosis.
Lemon and the rest of the crew have been working from home recently, and this has given him time to spend with his fiance, Tim Malone.
Chris has gone viral in the weeks prior to his diagnosis after he and his brother New York governor Andrew Cuomo would make hilarious side comments to one another during interviews on the pandemic.

WORKING FROM HOME AMID THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Lemon and the rest of the crew have been working at home recently, and this has given him time to spend with his fiance, Tim Malone. The lovely pair shared a simple Easter meal together in their New York home, making sure to stay grateful for everything they have.
On Instagram, the pair showed fans what takes up most of their time, which includes their pets, and of course, their work from home setups.
