Jennifer Lopez celebrated her soon-to-be stepdaughter's 12th birthday with a sweet social media post.

Since Jennifer Lopez began dating Alex Rodriguez, she has been spending time with and getting to know his children, Ella and Natasha.

So it didn't come as a shock when Today divulged that she uploaded a heartwarming post to celebrate Ella's 12th birthday.

[Jennifer Lopez] who has been married three times before, also noted that she wanted her fourth wedding to be done in a church.

Along with a picture of her and the celebrant enclosed in an intimate embrace, the "Maid in Manhattan" actress recalled how Ella welcomed her the first time they met. While stating that the little girl won her heart in a split second, Jennifer added that:

"You won my heart in a split second ... you're not so little anymore but you're still sitting on my lap and I love it!!!"

It didn't take long before her followers began liking the post and sending in their best wishes for the 12-year-old. While some wished the celebrant the best, others claimed that the image and caption made them cry.

The post comes just a little over a month after People shared some details about Jennifer's upcoming nuptials with her man. Although the "Hustlers" star stated that she and Alex were in no hurry to jump the broom, she did want them to have a big wedding.

The big wedding would not only have their family and friends as guests, but their exes would also attend it as Alex told hosts of "GMA 3: Strahan, Sara and Keke" that:

"I would say exes invited to the wedding. All-inclusive. The more the merrier."

While it seems that their wedding plans might be held off until the end of the novel coronavirus pandemic, Good Housekeeping reported that Jennifer wanted her 11-year-old son, Max, to be the one to walk her down the aisle.

The actress, who has been married three times before, also noted that she wanted her fourth wedding to be done in a church.

It would be recalled that Jennifer was first married to Ojani Noa between 1997 and 1998 before she walked down the aisle with Cris Judd in 2001.

Soon after her divorce from Cris in 2003, Jennifer got hitched to Marc Anthony in 2004. It was during their ten-year marriage that the pair welcomed their twins, Max and Emme.
